About Me
Let's Start From the Beginning. . .
I started my first job on my 16th birthday as soon as I got my drivers license. I have always been a driven individual and hard worker, but little did I know that my first job at the mall would quickly turn into a passion for customers and marketing. My work in local retail stores gave me a solid foundation of experience in customer service, leadership, and communication. My passion for helping customers and meeting their needs shaped my path in attending the Haslam College of Business as a digital marketing student. My time at the University of Tennessee led me to develop a deep appreciation for creativity and a strong passion for business.

Throughout my undergrad I maintained multiple jobs while keeping up with my studies. These included working at a prominent women's clothing store, fitness instructing at a local barre studio, tutoring in the University Writing Center, and interning at Visit Knoxville. I love to stay busy and challenge myself!

I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I also focused on a collateral in Leadership and a minor in Retail Merchandising Management. I was honored to be a Top Graduate and a Volunteer of Distinction. GO VOLS!

Creative. Strategic. Passionate.

"Kacey Cannon served as Visit Knoxville’s marketing intern for the 2023 fall semester. She was a joy to work with, always positive and smiling during her time here. She was able to learn about marketing through the lens of tourism; focusing on social media, communications, PR, and more. Kacey displays a can-do spirit, is quick to learn and open to feedback, a clear team-player, and an open communicator. Her organizational skills helped her to complete projects on time, and her ability to take direction allowed for both collaboration and self-sufficiency throughout her internship. Kacey was a wonderful intern and I eagerly await her success in the next chapter of her career!"
